Q & A

Question:

What do you get when you put a preemie diaper on a not so preemie baby (aka Shawn)?

Answer:

All wet! (and lots of laughter, too) Well, not all wet. Just my pants, sweatshirt, and Shawn. I am telling you that diaper was used!

Evidence:

(It is hard to tell that my pants are wet, but trust me when I tell you that they are.)

Discussion points:
  1. Why was there a preemie diaper available for us to use when the boys haven't been wearing them for several weeks? (I am sensing a conspiracy, here.)

  2. How much pee does it take to flood a diaper, a sleep n' play, two blankets, a sweatshirt, AND a pair of jeans? Can said amount of pee come from an 8 pound baby? (The answer to the second question is an obvious yes!)
  3. Is this what I get for not getting spit-up on me yet?

  1. Ha! The very first time I took Sasquatch into my old job (where they had been with me from day one of the pregnancy), the first thing he did was leak through his diaper while my boss (in his own words a "flaming queen" in a $3,000 suit) was holding him. Then the kid threw up on his desk.

    Ahhh...good times!

  2. That's hilarious !
My boys are 18 months and sometimes I can still get peed on from a pee out !

  3. I think all moms get peed on, and worse...As for the spit up, I hope your good luck continues! My son spit up constantly. He even spit up the polio vaccine.
