Well thankfully they listened to you. Good for you for standing up for your child. Don't let those doctor's push you around. But seriously I'd check into another hospital if you're able to. They may be the "best" in the area but obviously their best is sucking right now.

This is a nightmare. I'm so sorry. I tell ya, that kid is trying to tell you all something. I hope the neuro team figures out what it is he's saying soon. If not for him then for the sanity of his poor mother.
