We are back, and I have to say that my boys totally rock! I swear. They didn't cry once the entire time.

Make them sit in car seats for what seemed like an eternity?

Not a peep.

Put them in an unfamiliar place and make them sleep?

Doesn't faze them in the least.

Take them out to a wedding which started two hours late. Delay their lunch an hour because of said lateness. Keep them up by passing them to brand new family members they have never met before. Throw in a lot of loud, bumping music.

Not a fucking sound other than adorable cooing.

See? They totally rock.

And I am one very lucky girl.

  6. You give me hope! My sister is getting married in March, and the twins will be 6 months old. I pray that they are just as content as your twins were at the wedding.

  8. Ah, the good old days :-)

I'm glad your wedding experience was better than mine last weekend.

My husband's brother got married. Luckily my mother was there to help be because my husband was the best man. Once he came down the aisle Maddie saw him and FREAKED out so my mother had to leave with her. She missed the entire wedding. Jackson at least made it long enough for me to do my reading before laying eyes on Chris and FREAKING out. I had to leave with him and missed 90% of the wedding.
THEN at the reception they both screamed for the first hour and I ended up missing all but the first joke of the best man speech because I had to leave with a screaming Jackson. I'm SO bummed I missed it.

So, anyway, just a warning, when the boys are 18 months old don't even bother attempting to bring them to a wedding! HAHA

  21. So glad to hear everyone was well behaved. I took my kids, 4 and 6, to a wedding labor day weekend without the hubby (he was out of town) and they did pretty well. They didn't have meltdowns until 10:30 and I was very impressed.
