What to know what makes you feel older?
When you tell him that he's officially an adult now and he can call you by your first name and he replies, "OK, Mrs. X."
Sigh.
Once upon a time, I was this boy.
I was the new teacher walking on to campus while my former teachers taught in the rooms next to me.
I was the one told to call my former teachers by their first names while inside I cringed at the thought.
I'm not sure how to handle this new turn of events...
*This isn't even a student from my first year of teaching. Cough, cough, sputter...Ouch.

I had a dream about your big boys. They were riding regular two wheeled bicycles. I've struggled with telling you, but in my dream they were going so fast and they were so pleased with themselves. There was some medical miracle behind it. It was an awesome dream.
Oh man.. I'm laughing, but I feel like that must be SUCH a blow. LOL

Even in college I couldn't call my teachers by their first names...I still struggle with that with women at my church. It's a respect thing :)
