Jack is 3!

Contrary to how my posts sometimes make it seem, things are pretty awesome around these parts. :)



Big boy has his well baby visit today. He's 40.5 inches tall and weighs 35 pounds (with clothes and shoes). Per the pediatrician, "You've got yourself a big one." lol.

Mostly Wordless Wednesday - Makes My Heart Sing

He's been practicing, which is definitely not something he wanted to do before now.

He was always so afraid.

Lately, though, he's changed. He wants to practice.

And when he does, it makes my heart almost explode from my chest in happiness.

My eyes instantly flood with tears.

I bet you can totally understand why when you see for yourself. :)

It's been quite the journey, but boy do we have some amazing little wonders to show for it. We're so lucky you're ours!

When I saw this, I just had to laugh. I got another "accusation" about IVF and twins from a stranger yesterday. I don't know why everyone seems to think it is any of their business.

The Mom Competition

From what I can tell, these videos come from this blog. I am not sure if they created the videos orginially or are just the ones to upload them to the Tube.

But, this one cracked me up, too. It does seem that moms are in some sort of eternal competition of who parents best or who has the "best" children. I hate these wars...but I can laugh at them when I see it in action!
