All Over the Place

Okay. You're having a bad day at work when you hear the kids talking about you in hushed tones. Well, it isn't so much that they are talking about you, because that is fairly common; it is more that they are trying to decide if you are bipolar. Their words, not mine.

Ummm...

12 year olds. Got to love them.

---

9 more school days left. Got to love that even more at the moment.

---

Sh.awn showed off his new skill today at therapy. I was so pleased! Then he proceeded to sit in a perfectly balanced one knee down, one knee up stance. It blew both his therapist and me away. It was awesome!

Couple that with how much he has started to repeat words lately, and I am about to fly over the moon!

---

Ja.son has taken to my hair clips all of a sudden. If he sees them in my hair, he immediately steals them and tries to put them in his. It is very cute but somewhat annoying. He's already broken two of them and has pulled out far too much of my precious hair.

---

Is.aac has walked around the house all night with a puffed up ego. He swears he got hit on at the grocery store by one man and two women (at different times throughout his trip). He also swears that this new attractiveness is due to his denim shirt. While I will admit that it is a nice shirt, I am not sure that is "hit on me" worthy. More than likely, he just misinterpreted a friendly hello. I hate to burst his bubble, but...

Sigh.

I have an extra $50 off of a $100 purchase from Old Navy. It is good through tomorrow. If you're interested in it, let me know and I'll send it to you. :-)

Ugh! Wish I could take you up on the coupon, but I have no time to hit O.N this weekend. Too bad.

I bet that over summer vacation your boys will learn to do so much more with you spending all that extra time...

It is great to see such happy stories on here...COngrats on all the milestones~

OMG, would love your Old Navy coupon, if you would like to share!

I just finished school this week, and it's been glorious. I'm excited for you to be on vacation too so that you can be with your wonderful boys more and help them through all of these magnificent milestones.

Boys. Phhhht. Men can't help think that everyone wants to be with them or wants to be them. It's hard-wired into their Y-chromosomes! Get him to repeat word for word what was said, and I bet you'll get the real story. That's how I usually have to extract past occurances from my Y-chromosomal unit. Congrats on the little Y's and their achievements!

What is it with boys and hair products? Did you see the pictures of Alex on my blog with the curler in his hair? I swear. :D That is the cutest picture of Jason! His hair actually looks much lighter than it does in other pictures--kind of a blondish-brown :D

You totally need to start talking to yourself in front of your class--develop different voices, have a conversation with yourself, the whole nine yards. That'll start them talking, I bet. I do that all the time, by the way. But not with different voices (not yet, anyways!).

Shawn mastered the one knee up, one down stance? Wow. It took Ty FOREVER to do that. His balance was much worse on his left than his right. He also sounds very advanced with language!! He's doing so fantastic.

Isaac needs to stop making muscle poses at the grocery store :D

Had to laugh at your husband getting hit on my a man, because that is definitely happened to my husband and it was hysterical.

Teachers are allowed to have bipolar moments, especially when teaching overly hormonal middle schoolers ;-)

Was Jason with Isaac with that clip in his hair. THEN I can see people gushing over him because THAT's super cute :)

How awesome is that little Shawn. He's doing SO great.

I LOVE that you are almost done with school. How fun for you !
