6 Months Old

My baby isn't such a baby anymore. He's swiftly moving out of 9 month clothes as the arms are too short on his sleepers. That's probably because he is now 29.5 inches long, and he tops the scales at over 20 pounds. His little legs are thick enough to need both my hands to wrap my fingers around them. He's big.

Yesterday Jack had his 6 month well baby visit. Frankly, it's hard for me to believe he is 6 months old. Why is it that it feels like time with him is moving at warp speed?

I guess because it is.

He's changing so much every single day. New sounds, new milestones...he just ticks them off one by one.

Everything is right on time.

He is perfectly average above average. :-)

I might even go so far as to say that parenting him is just plain EASY. (Seriously, why do people complain about anything if this is the typical experience?) It's a reality that I don't know quite how to process.

Easy hasn't been part of my vocabulary for quite some time.

I could get used to this!

The big boys seemed to feel a bit better today. Their noses have finally stopped running. Sh.awn still wants to do an awful lot of snuggling, but I think he is just milking it now. Yay!

Yay for 6 months! It's amazing how they fly by :-) I just wanted to tell you that yesterday LM wore a nearly identical outfit--just darker jeans! Great mama minds!
