I don't know why, but I am feeling especially sappy when it comes to my husband. I would be content to touch him twenty four hours a day. It is the strangest thing. In our relationship, he is by far the more touchy-feeling person. I have always been a little more standoffish--not to the point of being rude or anything, I just want my personal space. That is a thing of the past. Now I want to touch him, be near him, or at least always be in the same room with him. Odd. He is totally thrilled about this change. It still feels off to me.
We had a productive weekend so far. Yesterday, we spent the day tiling the back splash in our kitchen. I was really nervous about it because we don't work well together traditionally. Yesterday, however, the whole project went smoothly, and it looks really good! (If I do say so myself!)
Now I am off to a cookout at dh's brother's house. I am not sure if I am looking forward to it or not. What started as a little get-together with his immediate family has somehow blossomed to a large shindig with the whole clan. (He's Hispanic so that means there will be loads of people there.) It should be interesting, though, because we haven't seen any of them for several months. I hope we manage to make it through without any of the usual drama that his family is notorious for. Fingers crossed!

Its opposite with me and my husband- I am the one that always needs to touch him and be in a room with him and he tries to run away when I grab him (Very pepe lepew). But I have been EVEN more touchy feely since this pg- so I know how you are feeling.
Hope you had a nice BBQ!
BTW thanks for your comment the other day- it is nice to know that there are others going through what you are currently going through- especially when its your first pg and you dont know how to feel or if what you are feeling is normal- this blogging has really helped me out a lot.
Oh- and we should exchange ideas... I want to get someone else's input- are you getting the double strollers that are side by side or one behind the other? I'm getting the Greco Quatro bec it really did get the best reviews, and it handles pretty well (went to Babies r us and tried it out)
