This week has continued on its downward spiral. Yesterday, we got the police and autopsy reports for my dad's accident. There is nothing more surreal than reading in graphic detail the last moments of your father's life, that is, until you read about the weights and condition of the different parts of your father's body after his death.
Then we put one of our cats, the one I fed with a medicine dropper for weeks because she was too little to drink from a bowl when we found her, to sleep. The night was topped with burying her in the back yard.
A stellar evening all around.
Surely things are going to start getting better soon, right? I have to believe that or I am going to go crazy. Well, I suppose I should say crazier.

I can't imagine a more troubling, no traumatic, night. I am very, very sorry for the rough time you've had lately. It's like only a few moments of happiness are allowed in for you. I wish I could send you a big hug.

I have read a few autopsy reports in my day but never for a loved one. I think it should be banned for them.

What a road this is for you- I wish I could fix something or put up a wall for you to prevent some of this stuff from coming at you.
