Got an email from one of the aides the program I coordinate has hired. She's pregnant*. She wanted to tell me early to make sure she'd still be able to work for us next year even if she's pregnant. (I assured her all will be okay in that regard.)
Any guesses as to when she's due?
Yep. The. EXACT. same. day. as. my. pregnancy. would. have. been.
If it wasn't so totally fucked up, I'd have to laugh.
I mean, really?
REALLY?
The universe really thinks I need a live reminder of what could have been?
Sigh. This just takes it too far. A person only has so much strength and resilience. Mine are quickly reaching their limits.
Oh, and universe, let me just say that you suck.
~~~
*I am happy for this girl. She is one of my former students and is a pretty amazing young woman. Still, I could have done without the timing of it all.
Oh the universe sucks.
I hope everything goes well for her, but I will surely hope that there is healing for you too.
Oh, and you can't do anything for the coincidence except rolling your everytime it hits you. Life is stranger than fiction.
Hugs.
Ugh! That is hard!
Ugh. I'm so sorry Stacie. That's just terrible timing. Much love.
So sorry for all of this. And I totally get the bitterness and anger. I had close friends both due around my EDD when I miscarried two times, and it pissed me off, even though I loved them both.
Hello,
I'm here from LFCA, I'm so sorry for your loss. I will have to go back and read some more about your journey.
We've had 2 losses and then no luck conceiving since.
Attended my nieces 1st birthday party today, she was born a week after our first was due, so we have the universe giving us that constant reminder too.
If you want to read my blog about our journey it's under pepibebe over at wordpress
Sending you peace and hugs from NZ
I'm so sorry Stacie. That really does suck. I wish I could give you a big ol' hug in person, but I can't, so this great big virtual one will have to suffice.
