I love it, and oh how I hope they never outgrow it.
There is something, though, about snuggling with Sh.awn. Holding him always, always makes me fall asleep. I don't know how to explain it, and it is something that doesn't happen with my other boys.
Of all my boys, he is the one about whom I worry most.
He challenges me (and my parenting) the most.
It could be argued that he also brings me the most frustration as a parent.
And yet, he is the one who calms me, who can bring me back into the moment, just like that.
When I snuggle him, all is right in the world...
Oh how I love this sweet boy.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I could've written this post about Liam. I can't explain it but it's undeniable. My husband says I see his face with hearts all around it. ;)
I always fall asleep snuggling my oldest. She is so calming to me. Love love love feeling her fall asleep in my arms
Love this post. Especially to see both ends of the spectrum -- the fighting against you and the bringing you into yourself with calm.
I have a snuggler too. And I love it. I usually lie in bed with her at night for 20 minutes or so to snuggle her to sleep and just breathe in her sweet scent. She too climbs up on my lap frequently for a cuddle. Snugglers are such fun. I hope for you (and for me!) that it lasts a long time!
