Hard to Believe

I found these things in my laptop case the other day.

It's a diaper that could fit the boys when they were first born and their name cards from the hospital. Their diapers were small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. The amazing thing is that these diapers were so small, and yet they were still loose on their tiny little bodies.

To put it into perspective, here is their first diaper next to one they wear today...

But you know, you still can't get a good understanding of the difference between the butts that sit inside these little diapers until you see these...

Just another reminder of how lucky I am to have the miracles that I call my little boys.

omg how precious is that diaper???? SAVE IT SAVE IT SAVE IT! Never get rid of that- it is such a sentimental reminder of how precious these babies are and just how tiny they once were :)
-Hoping Shawn gets these poxies out of his lil system also!!!
-Sorry to hear about your mother and the Lyme. Thankfully she got the antibiotics and I hope she sees some relief with the new doctor.
-Earthquake??? The one that shook Judge Judy's courtroom? I saw that on TV and was like WTFFFFF

it's awesome to have a tangible reminder of how far the boys have come. it's hard to believe how small they were when you look at them today. what wonderful little miracles they are bringing smiles and joy to all of us! i hope the boys (and your mom) are feeling better and that you have been able to get some rest.

What a good pictorial - really shows the progress. Amazing - hopefully you'll be through the pox outbreak soon too. Hope your Mom is feeling better soon! Laurie had her baby girl, Elizabeth Rae, 7lbs 8oz. Very cool!

I have one of those as well. and it was still so big on robbie that it had to be folded essentially in half so as not to come up to his chest.

I brought it into work with me and set it on my desk. the pictures just doesn't show how small they are. people would look at the pictures and then I'd say "here's one of his diapers.'

many people would just start crying. It brought it home for them.

YAY for bigger poop catchers!

I've kept one of all of the babies' diapers that they've worn and then grown out of (those would be a clean one of each size). Sometimes I pull them out and stare at them - so astonishing.

Hang in there with the pox - we just finished both of them having severe cases ourselves, one of them 10 days after the other. It was hell.
