- Ja.son did his first attempt at the army crawl TWO DIFFERENT TIMES today! Yea! Not too shabby for my guy who wouldn't put weight on his arms a little under two months ago (he was quite the lazy boy)!
- Today Sh.awn said his first real word--dada. He repeated it throughout the day and repeated us when we said it to him. I cannot tell you how excited this makes me, especially because the damage he had from his original bleed was in the language center in his brain. I have loads of hope now, people. LOADS OF HOPE ABOUT THIS! (and I finally let out the smallest of exhales)
- Sh.awn's two bottom teeth have finally broke free of their confinement. We now have something to brush besides his gums. Yea.
The day couldn't have gotten any better if I had planned it. (insert contented sigh here)
All is well in my world.
Let the excitement keep on coming... :-)

Saying dada is great - reinforce him often! Brains are plastic in nature, they can accomodate for damage, so there is much hope for his language skills.
