Ja.son's at my mom's, probably getting tucked into bed right about now.
Sh.awn's already in his bed, where I'll soon be following.
The meds are waiting in the kitchen. Our diaper bag is packed with comfort items.
We're as ready as we are going to be.
5:30 is going to be here much too soon.

I hope surgery is quick and smooth. I hope you barely have time to drink a cup of coffee before they bring you back to the recovery room. I hope he recovers quickly and easily.
And most of all, I hope this is the last time you have to go through this for a long long time.
