Sorry I've been MIA. I was trying to keep myself from thinking about babies (as if I could really) and was staying away. That and dh decided we really did need to go on the anniversary trip to Vegas that we had previously planned before all the baby drama happened.
We left on Saturday afternoon and got there really late because of traffic and frequent pee stops. We came back last night. I must say that it was a welcome distraction from everything. We saw the Cirque performance of Love--the Beatles tribute. It was abstract, like they always are, but we both liked it a lot. Other than that, we gambled (unfortunately I am not a millionaire, darn it, and I am a whole lot poorer than I was when we got there), saw the sights, and ate lots. I had a lot of fun.
The good news is that they finally called today from the doctor's office. Both babies are still boys :-) because I had to check and chromosomally normal. Whew. It is so nice to hear that my little ones are healthy. Double whew.
I was thinking about this pg and you know what? I might actually get some babies out of this! Who'd have thought it?

How fantastic. I am so glad (1) you enjoyed your time in Vegas even though you didnt get rich(er) and (2) most importantly that your boys are chromosomally normal. What a relief. Power of prayer worked. NOW -enjoy your pregnancy -everything will be fine!Thinking of you often, ISA
Thank Goodness.
How many of us have been put through the hell of a screening test or ultrasound scare? I'll never forget the fear & anxiety....stupid tests.
What a relief! I'm so happy that everything is fine.
YAHOO!!! God, I HATE these tests. Double congrats.
Now...
relax.
That is great news. I have twins myself and suggest, if you haven't already, find a Mother's of Twins Club if you can. Many years later a lot of my closest friends are people I met through my MOTC. There is a national organization, (NOMOTC) which stands for National Organization of Mothers of Twins who must have a web-site (my twins were born pre-internet) which would probably help you find a chapter in your area. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
I am so glad to hear everything is ok- you have no idea!
Its nice that you now know the sexes of your little ones- I went yesterday and they said it was "too early"- I dont believe them, I just think they were lazy to really check.
Glad you took a mini vacation and relaxed. I was sure it would all be ok with the boys. Isnt it nice to know that we may actually get some babies out the deal? :)
exhale.
I'm so glad that everything came out normal. Boys are so much fun.
What a crazy ride you had. How can you help but be worried all the time as a mother? Stressful.
