I am so excited. The new pediatrician gave us Zan.tac for Shawn's reflux, and he is like a whole different person! I am now forever indebted to the drug and its makers. No, seriously. I am.
The pediatrician appointment went fine. I took the boys by myself, and I managed to survive (although I did sweat a bit when they both started crying and the doctor was trying to talk to me). Jason weighs 9lbs 7 ounces, and Shawn weighs 8lbs 9 ounces. Shawn is now 21 inches long, but I am not sure how long Jason is. I do know he is bigger. Not too bad when you remember that they weighed 2lbs 14 1/2 ounces and were 15 inches long at birth. We go back for a follow up next week to check to see how Shawn is doing on his Zan.tac.

On a side note, I think the lack of sleep is starting to affect me. I can overlook the day I put the boys' clothes on backwards and call it inexperience, but when I wear a sweater inside out for the entire day, I do believe that is something. The sad part is that no one said anything. You can't tell me they didn't see the tag on my back! Sigh.

what chubby pumpkins! HOW CUTE!!!!! Glad about the Zantac and how well Shawn is tolerating it!!!
And um- no one cares about your clothes silly :) Everyone is busy looking at the boys not YOU! lol! Nah but seriously- I hate when people dont tell you about a huge tag sticking out, inside out clothes, toilet paper on your shoe, etc. You know they see it and theyre secretly laughing at you.
I'd tell you though! I promise!
Not to worry, we've all worn our clothes inside out, and worse. I once went out, to Christmas Eve lunch with my in-laws, in my slippers. Mine weren't even babies, but it was a stressful time.
Heh. All the best mommy stories start with the sleep deprivation angle.
Heh.
ha- I see your wearing your shirt inside out, and raise getting on the wrong train home only to realize you are 40 minutes headed in the wrong direction. Yeah- it happened last night.
They probably assumed the other side of your sweater was covered with sweat and tears...no puke and poop :) so you flipped it over to look clean !
Glad that the reflux meds are helping.
award at my place...
