So I continue to hold my breath because I am too afraid to exhale. The second I let my guard down, things go to hell.
It's exhausting. Sigh.
Speaking of the cold from hell, everyone is still sick around here. The sickness has led to lack of sleep, which has led to intense grumpiness. The grumpiness has led to.....wait for it....the dreaded tantrum. Times two. And let me just say that the boys have inherited their father's flare for the dramatic. (He did aspire to be an actor back in his early twenties!) Ahem. Picture arm flailing, kicking, high pitched wailing, head banging, rolling all over the floor, and many tears, and you can imagine a fraction of the scene playing out in our household over the last few weeks. Anything (everything) can set them off. What is okay two seconds ago will instantly become the worst thing in the world. The whole thing makes my head spin. Plus it frustrates me to no end!
Oh. My. God. Tell me this stage stops soon--even if you have to lie.

Stace I'm so glad that Sha.wn seems to be ok ..... I've been thinking of you and hoping and praying you are all ok.
Tantrums. Mmmmmmmm. Max never had ONE, and Rocco has had them since he was around 9 months old. They chop and change like the seasons .. hope the ones in your house are just a passing fad. XO
1. I can't imagine all the stress you are feeling not knowing what is going on with your boy.
2. Tantrums x 2 = no fun! I do have to say that my daughter's fits were worse before she turned 2. By age 2, the fits had gone down. Hopefully this will be the same for your little guys, as well.
I hope everyone gets to feeling better soon. But until then you need major hugs.

The boys' tantrum stage will definitely stop soon, once they have the language to express their emotions better.
Your worrying stage, on the other hand... I make no promises. Sorry.
They do outgrow that stage, I promise. Gabe had a flair for the dramatic like your boys do but, thank God, he outgrew the tantrums.
Ohh man, the fun part. Uh sure it's quick. Once it's over you'll forget about it entirely..
I'm not gonna lie to you. This IS a stage.
AND. there are more stages. Things that they do in stage one they might not do in stage two. BUT they might do it in stage three and four. They also add to stage two and sometimes keep that until stage 5. FIVE FOR GOD SAKES.
