About a half an hour after I finished eating, I felt light headed. I went to go lay down for a few minutes before we got everyone dressed. I woke up an hour later feeling even worse. The night went downhill from there.
Needless to say, I did not go trick or treating with the boys. Actually, no one went. Is.aac was pretty worried about how quickly (and violently) I got sick.
Now today, I feel sad that I missed out on celebrating such a fun day with the boys. I know they don't care. I know they won't remember. But still, it just hurts me to let even this one silly holiday slip by without going all out. We've worked so hard to get the chance to celebrate anything at all! I still can't shake the feeling that I have to go make the most of these types of things and celebrate while we can.
I still want to dress the boys up and take loads of pictures. At least that is something, right?

Tonight is my first PIO shot. There's no turning back now. Friday is on its way.

20 yrs from now, they will never know if the pictures were taken the day of Halloween or the day after. I say dress them up and take pictures anyway.

I'm so sorry about the sickness... and bummer that you all missed trick-or-treating. Yes, photos will have to be "good enough" this year - and you're right that it's more about your enjoyment this year than theirs. :-)

Don't feel bad - I didn't celebrate this year either for different reasons.
I agree, though, take their pictures so we can see just how cute they look.

Hell, if it were me I'd call some neighbors or friends and tell them we were coming over to trick-or-treat. There is no freakin' reason you or they should have to miss that fun.

I went to the hospital mid afternoon with major cramping and other fun preterm signs that turned out to be nothing. I was told I did too much the week before and back to the couch. meaning I couldn't go out with Bug T or T.
I know how much it sucks. I'm missing out on so much. I feel your pain.
Definitely dress them up and put pics up.
