- Is.aac has a big convention this weekend. I am flying solo yet again. Sigh.
- I am not a fan of flying solo. I can do it. It isn't even that it is all that hard...it's just...I don't know why it bothers me so much. It just does.
- I think Jack is about ready to cut a tooth. He has been miserable today and he has a swollen area where a bottom eye tooth would be. Plus he wants to chew on my hands and everything else all the time. I hope he is put of his misery and the tooth pops sooner rather than later.
- My shins are very sore from all the uphill hiking on my zip lining trip (post to come). Ouch. I broke out the percoset this morning because I could hardly walk when I got up! They are still sore this evening, but I can walk without narcotics.
- I am officially a wimp. lol.
- The trial continues. I'm not sure if I'll testify on Monday as subpoena the says, though. Things are behind, and the prosecution still has one last witness to present. The defense did, however, call a few witnesses out of order today because people are leaving for vacations and such. I guess I'll know when the investigator calls.
- My neighbor's twin (the one who lost baby No.ah) has his birthday party tomorrow. They've invited us, but seeing how I'll be alone, I can't quite figure out how to get the three boys over there all by myself. Sigh...It would be so much easier if they were able to walk!
- Don't even get me started on them not being able to walk. I am STILL waiting for the evaluations to be completed so I can get them into PT. Yeah. From those evals we did on May 3 and May 5. I don't care what they say, but it shouldn't take 11 weeks to finish paperwork and get them started. I have already filed complaints about our therapists, and we haven't even had therapy yet. I can see this is going to be a great relationship.
- I still can't figure out why we continue to hit one wall after another when it comes to getting my boys services. Surely it isn't like this for everyone. But if it isn't, why is it ALWAYS like this for us? I just don't get it.
- Two weeks ago, a random tomcat broke through the vents on our garage. It pissed all over the place and attacked our cat, Annie. She has been a mess since then--very skittish and just plain not herself. I finally figured out why. She has a pretty nasty abscess on her hip. Her hair is so long, it took me noticing her limping before I found it. We're off to the vet tomorrow for some antibiotics.
- I am behind on my Summer Camp posts. I'm going to try to catch up this weekend.
For more leftovers, visit
Danifred's. While your there, congratulate her--she's pregnant!

Your poor cat. I'm sure she's traumatized. Mean old tomcat.
I don't think you are alone in your quest for services and the ridiculous lag that happens after evaluations. It's really so unfortunate though! Hope things move more quickly for you guys.
I'm upset that it's so difficult for you to get your boys in to PT. Argh - why do they make this so hard to get going...? I wish I could "lend" you Al.ex's therapists from CCS here - they have been just wonderful and accommodating, just a little too far away for you.
That sucks about the cat, but it sucks even more about the services...I'd be so annoyed.
