I've been corresponding with the investigator by email. In response to something I wrote, she said...
I myself went to Catholic school. I wish the nuns had the same compassion I have found with the teachers out here. They may have changed lives. In all my years of working criminal defense and mitigation, I have never seen such devotion and united stand among a group of teachers. It's truly refreshing.
There is something about those words that comforts me. Up to now, everything has been about how the teachers at my school are horrible and just "let" this happen. They insist we didn't care about these boys. Those assumptions couldn't be any further from the truth.
I guess her words validated what I already knew, and it is so nice to have that recognized.

August 2nd is our 9th wedding anniversary. Going to the courthouse is a great way to celebrate.

I'm in a bit of a funk that I can't quite shake. My stomach has been killing me (stress much?) and I am not sleeping well. :-(
My hair is still falling out at an alarming rate--like all my hair pulled together is as thick as my finger now. I am trying not to freak, and I do realize that hair loss is normal PP, but how do I know what is too much?
When I am bald?
TMI here, but when you find your hair in your child's shit, as in the hair went in and has now come out of your child's BODY, isn't that losing a bit too much?
Sigh.

It's pretty bad when your hair dresser is alarmed. My hair fell out so bad I began looking like I was a chemo patient. I'm not kidding. I had 2 inches from my hair line back that was completely gone. COMPLETELY. I kept thinking....there's no way it will keep falling out. and each time I'd get in the shower I'd get handfuls and then when doing my hair right after pulling every last strand out....I'd still get handfuls. It's scary.
I'm sorry you too have to deal with hit.
What a nice thing for the investigator to say. From what I've read, it all seems to hold true.
I love first cereal faces, they crack me up! He is such a handsome face - screwed up in yuck or in smiles! Thanks for sharing them.
This trial is a real energy sucker. I want it to wrap up and help you close it as best you can.
Hair loss is freaky. I think it is more than you remember as I am still scarred from the amount I lost. Chipmunk in the drain.
