I went down to the courthouse with my friend who was testifying today. They put her in a conference room and wouldn't let her sit with us, or us with her there. We (another friend and I) couldn't go into the courtroom because although we haven't been officially subpoenaed, we are potential witnesses and couldn't go there.

So we sat in the cafeteria. So stupid.

We were there for two hours before the defense lawyer got a "migraine" and they recessed for the weekend.

My friend didn't testify yet, so she has to go back again on Monday.

Ugh.

We did decide that she'll go back alone because we can't even be with her anyway. At least we were able to diffuse some of her nerves today. She said she feels better about what is going to happen now.

If/when? I am called, it will be the week of the 18th. Guess who goes zip lining on the 19th.
